Seeing a TV ad from Seniors First / Reverse Mortgage brokers revealing how cash poor / asset rich retirees ( myself being in that category) can gain funds by using their equity in their residential home, I made contact with their office and was put in contact with broker Adam Oakley.Adam explained how the system worked and the means to obtain those very important funds in a very friendly,polite and informative manner .Adam followed up on my first phone call soon afterwards with a joint phone call with my wife and myself explaining the process to realise funds and how a reverse mortgage worked .Afterwards We held discussion with our family and Solicitor (all were were in agreement with what we very now proposing ) .Informed Adam of our intentions who arranged the necessary paper work for completion by us very quickly , no waiting around.Once we completed the information required Adam lodged our application to a number of banks for consideration with offers being received within a couple of days. We accepted one bank's offer who arranged the necessary paper work to us very quickly to enable a quick settlement once our signed documents were received by them .Settlement on our reverse mortgage occurred almost 2 months to the day after our initial discussion with Adam . Funding was 2 business days after receipt of documents by the bank which was very impressive indeed . The only delays were caused by us getting the info asked for .The help and guidance give by Adam Oakley was invaluable and very helpful , Adam was always readily available to answer any queries we had and made the process in applying for this type of funding very easy with out any drama .I highly recommend Adam Oakley and the Team at Seniors First if a Reverse Mortgage suits your needs as it does ours .

The decision we made to consider a HECL was carefully deliberated. Having recently sold our home and downsized to a more affordable apartment; we sought the most suitable organisation to address our financial requirements.Our decision to engage the services of Seniors First was primarily influenced by our initial telephone conversation with Adam Oakley on May 5, 2025.The conference call was highly productive; Adam listened attentively as we outlined our financial situation, posed insightful questions, and made us feel that our needs were a priority. His responses were thoughtfully articulated in clear, jargon-free language, ensuring we fully comprehended the information provided.Our initial engagement with Seniors First was crucial. Prior to this, we had contacted another organisation in March 2025.
